Crete Holiday Offers

Overview

The largest of the Greek Islands and holding one of the best sunshine records you really have to see what Crete has to offer for yourself. The rugged snow capped mountains and the views of Spinalonga Island are a few of the breathtaking sights I’m sure you’ll want to capture on camera.

If sightseeing is not what you have come on holiday for then take your pick of one of the long sandy beaches, coupled with the inviting clear waters you’ll find them hard to resist. Be careful on your choice though as some of the beaches can be a little hard on the feet. Crete has so much more to offer than the rowdy resort of Malia where the young party crowd choose to hang out, with so many resorts here from tiny traditional Greek villages to lively fun filled harbour side cafes. No matter what your age the choice really is yours when it comes to holidaying on Crete.

Eating Out

Lucious salads, sprinkled with huge chunks of creamy feta cheese feature high on nearly every menu on this picturesque Greek island, whether it be a traditional taverna or a high class restaurant. Tzadziki, a refreshing dip og garlic, yogurt and cucumber is an excellent accommpaniment to most any dish, try it with fresh swordfish steak washed down with the local retsina wine.

Places to Visit

For the family there is lots to keep you entertained, the waterpark located in Hersonissos is always a great fun filled day out, or for something a little different hop aboard the pirate ship Captain Hook, receive a warm welcome from the crew who are dressed as pirates and act as you guide pointing out sights as you sail along the crystal blue waters keep a close eye out for the dolphins and turtles. Visit stunning caves then relax on the sandy beach of Bali where you can take in the sun before starting your journey home.
