Mention Ibiza and immedialty everyone thinks of young, rowdy clubbers making a nuisance of themselves after far too much alcohol, but there is far more to this beautiful island than the clubs such as Café Del Mar and Pascha, which have made it famous. For families Playa D’en Bossa is a must with its fantastic water park and family friendly hotels but if it’s low-key bars, café’s and pretty surroundings you’re after then look no further than Es Cana. If all you want to do is party, party, party then hit the clubs of San Antonio, why not you may end up sharing the dance floor with such as Charlotte Church, Liam Gallagher or Norman Cook. It really is a place you must visit, if only to say you have been to one of the many famous night clubs, and with only just over a two hour flight it’s the ideal spot for that quick get away or special occasion long weekend.

Eating Out

You will be spoilt for choice when eating out in this island, every taste and age group are catered for. Ibiza town has a great marina area where you can watch the yatchs whilst trying the local specialities. The cafe style bars are a great favourite and stay open until all hours serving food at very reasonable prices.

Things to Do

For grown ups the variety of watersports on offer is amazing, waterskiing, jetskiing, paragliding and windsurfing are all readily available, while for the younger members of the family there are the more sedate banana boats and pedaloes. For a more relaxed way to pass your holiday time then the tourist train is a fantastic way of taking in the sites and scenary that Ibiza has to offer.
